Okay I have looked for a while and can't remember what I did. *headdesk*
I basically backed up my LJ, but not with LJBook apparently. It saved into a folder with the name of the journal and the dates you exported, or backed up. Inside this folder is two things. One is a folder marked entries which has each entry's icon/other specialty information. The other thing is a .html document that says index_then the dates. I saved this info for my personal journal, and one RP journal, in January of 2009. The folder for the entries says it was updated in February. It basically makes your journal accessible offline and freezes it at that moment so that even if you've changed icons, for example, the old icon you used is the one shown. It also saves images and comments. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I finally figured it out. Essentially there is a feature on LJaddons that lets you export it. Basically, it is like reading your journal offline. It's helping me deal with no wireless at the house because at least I can go back through things.
