Thank God It's Saturday?
Title: Thank God It's Saturday?
Canon: Weiss Kreuz
Characters: Aya, Schuldig, Yoji, Brad
Notes: VERY inspired by the Katy Perry song "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)". May have a prequel/sequel at some point, though it's 'complete' as it is.
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Oh yeah. I own NOTHING. So no money off of this, just for fun...etc...
The first thing Schuldig became aware of when he woke up was that he wasn't alone. The second thing was that he was in his own bedroom at Schwartz headquarters. Okay, well the first memory that came to mind was that he had went to his favorite bar. Not the bar he went to when he wanted company, but the one with the kickass bartender who knew what he liked, was good at conversation, and had an interesting mind that was the icing on the cake. Okay, so why was there another person in his room then? He glanced over at first only seeing dark blond hair then he had to stifle a laugh as he realized that maybe dealing with Brad wouldn't be his first issue of the day. At least Yoji was still asleep, and wasn't going to have a hangover, which was a plus since he could use someone in a good mood. He slowly became aware of soft breathing coming from the foot of his bed. Actually, it was coming from the floor at the foot of his bed. Someone else? He leaned forward carefully so he wouldn't wake Yoji and took a look at his other guest. Red hair was the first give away. Well he always knew when he did something he didn't do it by half, but now he was definitely going to get all the details of what happened because while Yoji being in his bed did make some sense, they were alike in many ways after all, he couldn't imagine Aya willingly coming to his bedroom for any other reason than to ensure his rest was very final.
He laid back down closing his eyes and concentrating. It started to come back pretty quickly. He was bored, and didn't want to get drunk since Brad had hinted that they might be busy that week. He'd seen Aya and Yoji come in and had decided to play. He had taken from one of their minds, he couldn't remember whose now, that they were on a mission. Apparently, some low-life liked to come here and they were doing recon. Why Aya was along Schuldig didn't know since he was sticking out like a sore thumb. No one was that stiff when they went out, especially if it was a place they liked. Then Schuldig got an idea. An awful idea. A wonderful, awful idea. His grin even got the attention of the bartender.
"Oh boy, when you get like this I get worried the place won't make it through another time." But the light tone and the grin only prompted Schuldig to go ahead.
"Balinese, Abyssinian is going to blow your cover unless you get him to relax and act like this is normal for him. I can suggest a few drinks." He smirked as he watched them over the rim of his glass.
Yoji gave him a slightly worried look, then glanced over to Aya. Something in what he observed made him shake his head and guide the younger assassin to the bar. "I hate it when the bad guys are right." Aya grew even stiffer when he noticed Schuldig but something Yoji said made him shrug and then sit down at the end of the bar.
Well, this wouldn't do, Schuldig decided, so he took his drink and went to join them. Yoji had just finished ordering two drinks and was working to convince Aya to drink his. "You'd better listen to him, Aya. You have to look like you belong here." He only got a glare in response, but Aya finally turned to the drink ignoring him. Well, he wouldn't let that go for long, but for now he decided Yoji needed his attention.
"At least someone here has the sense to listen to good advice. I might even know this person you're looking for, but you'd had to think of what they look like. People can lie about their names when they go out." Yoji bit his lip obviously wondering what the German was up to, but eventually he shrugged and Schuldig received the image. "Oh him I know." And he was annoying so made this all the more fun. "He usually comes in later, close to morning but he's a regular so you shouldn't have any problems."
The three of them drank for a little while no one saying anything. Aya watched the door so he missed it when Yoji made sure his glass was filled a couple of extra times. He was starting to relax a little, but he was still managing to stay focused, not that this surprised Schuldig. He was getting restless though. Since only one of them needed to watch the door he grabbed Yoji pulling him out onto the small dance floor. He wished tonight was a live band, but the music wasn't bad and since Yoji had a couple of drinks in him he got into the music fairly quickly. It was easy to see, as Schuldig watched him move, why he was good with his weapon, and Aya's for that matter.
Things became a little vague after that point. He remembered they found the guy, and the two members of Weiss dealt with him, and then they left walking around, though the drinking continued. Someone had a camera, but he couldn't remember who, probably Yoji. Eventually he remembered something about water and a dare and then he decided everyone should go back to his place to sleep it all off.
Aya mumbled in his sleep slowly waking up. Oh yeah, he'd had a hangover. Not too bad as long as...
"Schuldig, I think you have some explaining to do."
"I don't have to explain myself to you. We don't have a mission today do we?" He was certain if they did Brad wouldn't be talking to him like this. The door would likely have been throw open without any warning. That calm, yet obvious angry tone, saying how tired the older man was of his irresponsibly and such. Maybe a loud slam of the door as Brad left, just for good measure, but that wasn't certain.
"No, but if we did how the hell would we deal with your guests?" Brad's surface thoughts under what he was sending revealed he was reading a file, but it seemed boring and easily ignorable.
"I'd keep them under until we could get rid of them." It wouldn't be difficult at all, really.
"Well you need to get rid of them just in case." Brad went back to focusing on the file shutting Schuldig out for the moment.
Schuldig rolled his eyes as he went to wake Yoji first. "Hey, Kudou."
"Mmmmm..." Yoji mumbled opening his eyes. "What the..." He sat up. "Okay, just how much did we drink last night?" He said jumping up and gathering the rest of his clothes, which were thrown around the room.
"Enough. You should probably wake Aya. I'm not getting attacked by a sword until I've at least had a shower, and coffee." He got up himself heading over to the closest.
"Yeah." Yoji said with a sigh. As he left the room he could see Yoji leaning over Aya and then inevitable yelling, a slight scuffle, mumbling. By the time he returned they were both gone. There was a note though:
So yeah I don't remember much, but what I do remember was pretty awesome, and I think we'd be able to convince Aya if we tried hard enough.
Yoji
Schuldig grinned before heading down to the kitchen. It was as he was sitting down with his coffee that he noticed the laptop. Normally, neither Brad nor Nagi would dare leave their precious computers alone for a moment, which meant this was a set-up. He walked over and laughed when he saw the open window. "Well, fuck." He really needed to remember the rest of the previous night, and the next time he'd drink a little less. Nah, it would probably go pretty much the same.
