Okay so yeah I need help from my friends list yet again.

I'm looking for a decently priced lip gloss that is highly pigmented. My lips are so pale that any color just goes to sheer if I find the shine that I want. I keep trying a few things, but haven't yet found one definite OMG must keep buying it's PERFECT. So does anyone have any suggestions? Any favs?

I use this by BareMinerals which you can get online or at stores like Sephora or Ulta. Warning: it is EXTREMELY sticky.

That's pretty expensive. Sadly I can't afford something over like 6 or 7 bucks. Also, I've never tried anything that plumps so I'm not sure if I would like that.

It is definitely put into consideration for when I have a better job.

Um, as far as something you can get at the drugstore, Covergirl makes one that is super dark. Outlast, maybe it's called?

Oh I tried the outlast color a while back and it was just *ugh* It was very very dry. I have a covergirl..ummmm some sort of shine something that I tried. It's a light color so I may just have to go really really dark, but it seemed a bit better than most.

Yeah it's trial and error a lot of times. I'm sort of in your boat if only because I have to have stuff that moisturizes (my lips are super dry) but my natural lip color is pretty dark and I usually just wear lip balm.

I just recently got to where I want to wear makeup again. It's part of trying to get in the mind set to go tackle that better job and get out of where I'm at. I know I'll need to polish myself a bit more so I'm working towards that.

Oh yeah, it can go a long way toward building that confidence. If I'm having a bad day, I usually will put on a little more makeup just to try and fake feeling better. /weird

That's not weird at all. It makes so much sense to me *nods sagely*.

I'm also trying to distract myself while waiting to hear about app.

Yes *nervous*.

I thought he was gone after apartment fiasco, but he and Yoji hung in there so they'll be coming to TR all depending if I can you know get the app right *grins*.

Have you tried Bare Essentials Natural Lip Gloss? It's $15 a tube but high shine and color, and it softens my lips like a good moisturizer should. Pretty nifty stuff.

Also, have you considered using a lip stain? I tried one for the first time a month ago and really liked it. It gave me the color I wanted, and then I topped it off with a clear gloss for some shine.

Wow that's up there too. So out of reach for now, but I LOVE mineral makeup, well mostly the foundation, powder, shimmer stuff and blush.

I will definitely consider it.

I have considered a lip stain. I don't think I've been to the right places though. I need to branch out more.

Hmm, I know Sephora has a lipgloss for around $6 but I haven't personally used it. The reviews are decent (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P230217&categoryId=S10605&shouldPaginate=true) but not amazing. Sephora rocks though, so maybe that one might be worth a try?

The basic Covergirl lip stains are surprisingly nice. My only complaint is that they dry out a bit too quickly. I think If you keep having difficulty with gloss it would be worth a shot. :)

I'll check them out. I have to go do some shopping and looking around anyway so it'll be a good excuse.
