Closer part 1

Disclaimer: None of the Weiss or Schwarz boys belong to me. This is somewhat of an AU, but can fit in to the Gluhen time line. The plot of this is inspired by IM discussions with [livejournal.com profile] castalidragon. This probably means you should be worried for our sanity, or you know glorying in the crazy with us. Either way her Brad inspires me so there. There is no beta so all mistakes belong to me. Will eventually be male/male, but nothing explicit will take place, I don't think.

Rating: This probably won't get about PG-13
Characters: Brad Crawford/Aya (Ran) Fujimiya
Summary: There will always be dragons.

Aya didn't like this particular cafe, but it was convenient at least. He didn't have to think or concentrate while he was here, especially during the busiest part of the day. When he felt someone standing beside him and heard the chair pulled out he didn't really think anything of it.

"Losing your touch aren't you, Weiss?" Aya tensed up at the familiar voice and turned to see Brad Crawford staring at him with a smirk. The only answer he gave was a glare as he stood to go. "I expected more out of you, pity." The American stated as he went back to the rice dish he had ordered.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Aya should have gone then, ignored the other man, pretended this hadn't happened, but instead he stood his knuckles white as he held onto the chair.

"If I have to explain it, then I believe my point is proved." The American didn't even look up at him as he answered. "Oh, I forgot though how protective you are of the innocents." This stated with a shrug.

Aya wasn't about to admit he didn't have a weapon anyway. He put a finger on the bridge of his nose. "What are you after?" He didn't sit back down.

"I believe it's fairly obvious." The other man gestured to his food.

"I don't buy that." There was always some motive where Schwarz was involved. "I don't want any of your riddles."

"Then you shouldn't ask questions." The American finally glanced up. "If you aren't going to leave then wouldn't you be more comfortable sitting down? I think we've established there won't be any fighting."

No tension left Aya's body as he sat back down in his chair. How did they find him? This couldn't be just a coincidence.

"You know, Fujimiya, if you don't relax you're risking an early death."

"Relax around you? That is a joke." Aya barely relaxed around his team mates, much less a person he had fought with before. A person who had taken his sister. He noticed the other man shrug as he went back to his food seemingly ignoring the fact that Aya was even there. "How did you find me?"

"I wasn't aware we were even looking." Of course, Aya thought to himself, did he actually expect to get a straight answer. "Not everything has to be about you."

"Are you going to come back here?" Aya would make sure he avoided the place from that day on.

"I think I might, they have excellent tea. I will be seeing you around, Fujimiya." The other man stood, turning his back to Aya as he went to pay his check.

Aya wondered if something had happened, because he was suddenly sure he was in hell.
