Interests:

PGSM: is a shortened version of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon also known as Live-Action Sailor Moon. When I went to Berea my friend would tape episodes of the anime for me so that I could watch something in my dorm room since at that time there was no cable in the rooms. I have no idea if this is still the norm, though I am pretty sure it probably is considering. I can't say exactly what made me get so into the anime, but I did and it only got worse with the live action version. The story for it is more adult than the anime and manga and several characters that get barely any mention in the anime or manga just much more flushed out stories.

Raistlin Majere: The same friend is also responsible for my love of Raistlin. We had talked but not more than that when she let me borrow the first book in the Dragonlance series. At first I didn't really get that into it until she casually mentioned that it had twins and one of them was evil and hot. I can't entirely blame her for my love of pretty baddies, but as we used to joke, "Raistlin is to blame for everything". Basically because he started out friendship and all the fun trouble that we became responsible for.

Role-Playing(or role playing): Some people might find it odd that I didn't start role playing with Dungeons and Dragons. Nope, I started out in a super-hero game that I can't even remember the name of now when I was about 21 or 22? Since then it's pretty much been an addiction that livejournal has helped to feed. I still miss playing with original characters since I don't get to do table-top roleplaying very much anymore but hopefully that will change. If not I can always find some on livejournal or greatestjournal.

Icons:

I can't remember how I came across this one, but I love the dress and the slightly hidden face. The tear down the cheek. All in all I just thought it was beautiful.

I don't know why, since normally I am not about Valentine's Day at all for various reasons, but I went looking for an icon. I picked this one and a couple of others. I liked the whole idea of the lock since not only would it be about the heart itself but perhaps secrets and such. I haven't used it much but it's one of the nice ones I probably won't ever clear out.

Oh John you pretty thing. Actually this one is relatively new since I replaced an older one that had the same lyrics a few weeks ago. John Rzeznik is probably one of my favorite male singers and songwriters, and the particular song that these lyrics come from has to be one of my favs by him.
