Tears of Truth Part 5

Please pay attention to previous disclaimers and warnings. Still not betaed *headdesk* Yes I should really work on that.

Summary: Hiriko meets with a certain redhead and another certain redhead is not pleased.

She had went straight to her room as soon as they had returned to the flower shop. At first she hadn't wanted to move. She had really liked her previous place after all, but it quickly became clear it would be for the best. She tried to distract herself with some music at first, but it didn't work. Then she had tried the TV. It was even worse and so she had quickly turned it off and then made her decision. She had to know if it was true. Now, tonight, before she changed her mind. It was quiet as he made her way out of the shop and since she wasn't scanning to see if anyone was awake she missed the pair of violet eyes that watched her leave.

It didn't take her long to get to the parking lot where she had asked him to meet her. She may still be dealing with learning her ability, but she couldn't deny that it was handy in situations like this. She waited for just a few minutes and then watched the car pull up.

"I wondered how long it would take, you know." Schuldig smirked as he got out of the car.

She gave him a look leaning back against the driver's door of her car. "I...I want to know if it's true. I want proof." She had decided that the best way to handle this was to be direct. She couldn't give him a chance to confuse or deter her.

"Oh, and what kind of proof would actually convince you?" He raised an eyebrow watching her intently.

"I don't know. I guess DNA." He could probably still find a way to fake that she supposed, but it would be difficult.

He shrugged, "Fine. You pick the hospital, doctor, date and time and I will be there. Well, as long as Brad doesn't foresee something."

"Okay. I'll make arrangements for tomorrow then." And what would she do if he really was her older brother? That was the question of the night.

"You could have just phoned if this was all we were going to do." He glanced at her and then smirked. "Unless, you didn't want them to know. Oh that's very interesting, imouto."

"Don't call me that." She sighed. "I'll call you tomorrow." She said as she opened her door.

He nodded and as soon as they made sure she knew how to contact him she was on her way back. It didn't help really and probably knowing the truth wouldn't help either, but she had spent so much of her life watching things happen to her that maybe it was time to be more active in her own life.

She quietly opened the door and headed towards her room when she heard Aya's voice. "And just where have you been?"

"It's none of your business. I just had something personal to take care of." She said turning in his direction. She could see a faint outline as her eyes adjusted.

He moved towards her. "It's my business if it might effect this team."

"It won't." Not that she could actually say that for sure, but at least she had some time to sort things out in her head before their next mission.

"I don't think that's for you to decide." He stated simply standing in front of her now.

"What? Look, I get you don't want anything to happen to your friends, but this is my personal business and you will stay out of it." Her voice was slightly louder.

"No." He gave her a look almost reaching out to her. "Where did you go?"

"I'm not going to say this again, but it's none of your business, Aya." Any other time she would have loved to have him touch her, but now all she could think about was getting out of here and trying to sleep.

"I'm only giving you one warning. If you are up to something I'm going to find out and I'm going to stop you." His voice was calm, but there was a harsh tone under it.

"Fine, whatever." She shook her head putting her hand on the doorknob.

He watched her for a minute, but didn't interrupt her again. Of course she hardly slept that night, but at least she had the next day, until she had to work on the appointment, to herself. The big question was would it change anything?
