Okay so I've learned quite a bit about the Sims 2 over the past few days and think that I have a handle on a few things I didn't before. I come to you with a poll because I can't decide whether to start over or not...

*giggles* I will think about it. I more had in mind a family with one or two people, but I can make more than one family so that might work. If I get over four I start getting stuck doing tedious things since I'm not so experienced yet.

I would make Weiss ones if I could do the male preg thing since this would be for something like a legacy type thing, but I wouldn't follow all the rules of it.

Oh I like that name! Now I want to listen to the song.

I tried a mod, but it messed up my game. There's another cheat, but it's complicated. I might use it though just to see what I can do and maybe freeze people as adults for a bit. *shrugs* We'll see.

I have all the expansion packs so mine generally have a lot of clothes or become tailors to make their own clothes. I LOVE MY SIMS. And well My Sims the game too. XD

I am getting quite quickly addicted, but still getting frustrated easily. I'm learning things to get past that though so yay!

I need to get Nightlife yet for the vamps. OMG. I just got Seasons for Christmas and just started playing with that one.

I just posted a Sims post myself. LOL! I was all WTF when one of the neighbor dudes comes over to my Sim girl, yells at her, pokes her, and causes her to cry?! They hadn't met yet at all. OMG rude. Bwahaha!!

I am way too addicted to this damn game.

I so missed that post *goes to see now* My problem is I don't have any expansions, and won't be able to get any for a while, and all the cheats that would help me enjoy it more are on those expansions. And yes it sucks even more that they are ones I want anyway it'll just take forever to get them.

I've got most of the expansion packs, and tons of downloads, so I'm always playing (unless I'm burned out), and I'm on my third generation of this new idea I've been working on.

Started with a single sim (based on a vamp character), sent him to college (do you have that? If not, it's not vital), then moved him into the smallest lot-type I had. He married, they had kids (five total), who then got sent of to college, and then I chose my heir. The eldest moved in with the parents, but the heir got the next-biggest lot. The other kids got one pregnancy each, and now the third generation is almost ready to go to college.

Basically, you're not allowed to move out of the lot your sim is in if their in the main line, and each house is allowed only certain numbers and sizes of rooms.

If you're interested, I could send you what I have written up. It's tweakable, and I haven't finished playing it through yet, obviously, but it's looser in scope than the Legacy challenge, and I'm really enjoying it myself.

I'm still trying to get things to work, and do downloads correctly it seems. I'm interested in doing something like that, but not before I figure out how to keep my people as adults longer. It's just a little overwhelming for me at this point for me to have too many kids at once since I am still adjusting and what not.

It is a bit tough. I can't blame you there. *snugs* As for downloads, I highly recommend Mod The Sims 2. They have tons of help there, and even more downloads.
