I think I am just about done with the ones I know.

I got triplets in my Sims 3 game! *bouncy* I don't think my sims are happy with me, but we'll see. I haven't played much past their birth yet. Three boys: Lexi, Lyle, Luke.

I'm really tired of winter. I mean I love watching the snow, but I had things to do today darnnit! I'm not going to transfer any more on my comp today 'cause frankly I can use the break. I think we have about 4, maybe 5, inches, but I'm not sure really.

Oh, about my iPhone...yeah I might need to take it back. Apparently I got the 'white screen of death', and though I reset it the problem can come up any time. I can handle it tomorrow or Friday so I'm not overly worried at this point.

EDIT: I was going to comment on my Sims 3 game. Well, it crashed once on the new computer, but that be my fault. I'll investigate further before searching out stuff and removing downloads, which I only have like 20 of or something. Probably tomorrow or Friday I'll work on bringing Sims 2 over and testing it.

So, I haven't mentioned this yet, but since it'll happen in a few days I probably should. When I get my tax money, which should be Friday, I'll be getting a new laptop. I'm pretty excited, but also not looking forward to the hours it will take to get everything properly set up and the extra hours it will take to make sure that both my Sims 2 and Sims 3 games will play properly. On that note I should mention that until I get it the new laptop I probably won't be showing any of my Sims 3 gameplay because it crashes when the camera is forced to move quickly and the graphics are not set to max yet because of lag on my sucky computer. Okay, it's not sucky but it definitely doesn't have what it takes to handle 3-d rendering.

As for my Sims 2 legacy HOPEFULLY once I get going to the doctor, dealing with the laptop, and such like out of the way I can work on it. Winter always seems to mess with my motivation, but I really want to completely finish a legacy so I will get to that. And there are fics to finish as well once I get my focus back.

Quick Notes: I have gotten rid of the red pause lines in the next update. Also, this time I am doing my best not to cheat and speed up the Uni experience. I don't know if I'll continue with that.

Warnings and Notes: I forgot to do this the last time since I know there are a few people who read my journal who may not know much about Sims. First, I use several hacks and mods: Inteenimater (allows adult/teen interactions such as moving out, getting married, same sex couples to give birth, etc.), ACR (autonomous casual romance. This mod allows your sims to do more romantic interactions on their own as well as lowering the relationship scores needed to get romantic options to open), I have a few vampire mods/hacks that might become important later...the biggest thing is that it allows vampires to have a 'killing bite', higher odds for alien abductions, triplets and quads, lot full of sims, I have something that removes the censor blur but for the life of me I can't remember what it is called now, or what it is a part of, do homework (as long as the kids are in a decent mood they will do homework on their own at the same time of day - 7), no friends needed for careers. I have a couple of other things, but they are more like fixes than anything else (stuff with do with heat and cold for seasons, for example).

Second, I have a lot of custom content that I've added to my game. I haven't made a real resource post yet, but I plan to. It'll take a bit since I don't remember where I got some of my older stuff and I'm still weeding out things that I don't use (mostly hair and makeup).

Thirdly, I have a new screen capture program so pictures will be clearer once I start using it. It'll probably take this update and one more before I do.

Finally, I now have all Expansion Packs (University, Night Life, Pets, Bon Voyage, Seasons, Open for Business, Free Time, and Apartment Life) and I have one of the Stuff packs (Teen Life).

Well, there is a bit to report on the Marissa front.

I've been pretty sick the past couple of weeks, which is most of the reason for my absence from LJ. It was an upper respiratory infection so basically I've just taken lots of medicine and am feeling a little better now.

I still haven't heard anything from the library. I will be calling them tomorrow and hopefully interviews will be happening soon so I should know within the next two weeks whether I will be getting one or not.

I did something a little impetuous, but honestly I've been thinking about it for a while. I am renting to own a PS3 and a 47 inch TV. I know renting to own is more expensive than buying outright, and there are many fees, and my roommie probably thinks I'm nuts for doing it, but I was tired of not having a TV, and I'm not ready to put out as much money as it would take to buy another TV, especially when it is still possible to get my smaller fixed if we can just make it to Lexington before the summer is over. I really feel like I needed to do something for myself while I was so uncertain about everything else, and when I know I'll need to destress if I need to start the job search over again if the library thing doesn't go well, so I think this was good for me, plus this will allow me to have a bigger TV than I would have been able to buy outright for a while. I already know what I have to do, and have planned for the worst case scenario, at least I think. I still hope to get the other one fixed as a back-up just in case, or if I should move out I will have both to have one for my room and everything.

I am dying to RP so hopefully I'll be working on that soon in some form, I'm not sure what yet. I've been not doing much with the sickness and distraction so I'm still at square one, but at least I'm slowly getting my energy back so I can do something.

Oh, I have played my new legacy family for Sims 2 so that will be coming soon. I just need to upload pics and do the first post. I'm not playing anymore until I get that ready and I'm really excited to share so I might do that tomorrow all depending.

I love my sims I really do, but for some reason I just can't get motivated to do the next update post. I have the pics saved and everything, actually had them up for a while, but I just haven't done anything. I think maybe I'm going to start a new family so that I can show everything from the beginning. I really like this author named Amanda Quick so I think I might base the naming theme on her books. A legacy author I really like did that and it seemed to work really well. I've also been thinking I might experiment with doing videos, but I will have to learn how to upload to youtube and how to use the Microsoft movie maker to shorten them. I think I just need a fresh start, in fact, I've thought a couple of times of restarting my game from scratch, basically just keeping my downloads.

Oh, and sadly until I hear about the library job, which likely won't be for three weeks, I probably won't be updating my fics. My brain is just a little too scattered to concentrate on them and everything, especially when I've been trying to make the chapters longer and one is close to coming to an end. The same goes for any RP plans. I hadn't even really settled on a game yet, so it's really not a big deal. It just might put things off until September, which will give me a chance to look for another job if I don't get the library one, because really I need something better soon and I want to be adjusted to whatever my new schedule turns out to be, if it changes, so that it won't interfere. This whole waiting and everything has played havoc on my motivation and attention span. Pretty much all I've done, other than work and do laundry, is reread my favorite Sims 2 Legacies and watch a tiny bit of Death Note. I probably would be watching more if the TV I borrowed my roommie when mine broke didn't decide to get worse. It's who knows how many years old so yeah it was expected, but still I don't want to make it worse. So really all I have is my computer, which I don't usually watch DVDs on and my portable DVD player for the moment. While this lack of focus while waiting, or stressed about something, is normal for me I really would like to know how to push past it. I feel like I'm old enough that I should know how to cope more effectively, but sadly I've not made any progress.

Also, along with waiting to hear about the library job I'm sort of trying to figure out about the Grad school thing. In order to get a promotion, if I do get the job, I'll have to get a Library Science degree, before I can do that though I have to take the GRE and pay off what money I still owe EKU. I should be able to do that, even without getting a better job, probably in February, but I don't really want to do it so soon. I don't know I'll figure it out all depending on what happens with the job search.

I've made a lot of changes in my Sims 2 game lately. It's been really weird to see the how they actually effected the game. I'm really enjoying it though so I think it was the right thing.

Speaking of my game: I've had the triplets and quad hack for a while, but I've always chosen original because my game loves twins anyway. Well, I got a set of quads today. I was in shock, in a somewhat good way. I cheated like crazy and did a lot of having my sims dash around, but it worked out. It's been interesting having so many kids around so close in age. They had an older sister who was still a child herself by the time they became children.

Not been doing too much lately. Just a little over a week and things should be back to normal. I still have one big thing to deal with and then things should settle down pretty quickly. I will just be glad when it is all over.


EDIT: Btw I actually have lots of Sims 2 pictures to share. I've renamed them and now just have to upload them and then prepare the post.

So my Sims game continues to have its issue. Now it seems to be random, possibly connected to a piece of clothing or a hairstyle though I don't think I have it set up for townies to have access to downloaded stuff *shrugs* Anyway, it's randomish at this point and I can work around it so I'm just going to do the best I can. I deleted the cache again and deleted a few other things I downloaded recently so I hope that it is. I have some things from pixel_trade that I really don't want to get rid of...we shall see I guess *crosses fingers* If it stays like this I suppose I can just save OFTEN and work through it since it doesn't seem bad.

I hope to get another Sims post up soon, but I haven't been in the mood to take pictures and sometimes college annoys me, but I will work through it and then get an heir post up.

This post is slightly overdue so there are a few things to cover:

My Co-op is officially over which means starting tomorrow the job search is on. At first naturally I'm going for the quickest thing I can get and once I know I'll have money coming in then I'll start to be more picky and specific and hopefully find something relatively soon that will allow me to use my degree.

I am dying to see Star Trek. Like it's driving me nuts. Luckily I'll get to go tomorrow and I'm sort of being selfish enough that even if my roommies can't go I'm going to find a way to. Why do I not have a Star Trek icon? Why? I must fix this at some point.

I have a dreamwidth account. I'm still figuring things out. I don't have any invite codes it seems, but if you want to track me down there feel free. I have mostly backed up my LJ over there, which actually made me very happy when I saw I could do that. I'm still angsting a little over just six icons, but meh it's not a big deal and eventually if I want I can get a paid one to get more so I'll get over it.

My Sims post should be happening soon. I have lots of pics saved up I just haven't had the energy to sort them out. I've lately been feeling restless with them so I'm trying to figure out some interesting things I could do.

Actually, I've just been feeling restless in general. It could be knowing I have to crack down on some things, or that Spring is here. Either way I'm hoping to sort it out soon, because it's getting annoying.

And here I am once again with more Sims for you! I made a big decision to make things easier on myself about half way through so just watch for that...ummmmm regular warnings snide comments, musical instrument abuse, and not dial-up friendly. I will have another update probably over the weekend, hopefully by Monday at the latest, since I have major rping to get underway first..so without further ado! This will include uni and the next update will have what happens beyond that.

More College...OMG!

Here is the deal. The poll will be up in about 10 minutes and will remain up until 1 am EST. I will then look at the results and close it, though comments will still be welcome. The results will be posted shortly after and then I will get started on adjusting everyone where they need to be.

I am finally done putting everyone through Uni. Thank god. There is a minor..errrr maybe major change...you see the Majeres are out of the running. I just couldn't deal with another college run and I really want that facial structure out. Never fear though generation 3 of the Majeres is off to college and will eventually get played. I have also played through Anita and Freddy and will put the pics up that I have of them. There aren't many, but enough to give you some idea of what they were up to I think.

I'm going to try and quickly get the pics posts up and then the poll so look for them in the next few days. Also, those looking for my pups in rpland never fear they are going to be getting out before the end of the month too.

Please check back with the intro post at some point because I will still be adding turn ons and offs and any changes made to aspirations.

Okay, after much thought I finally, for the most part, have decided what to do about the Legacy question...

There are now -9- kids in college, from all of the families I created (except for Anita and Freddy..don't worry I will play them and give pictures!). What will happen is this - I will put them all through college and then when they are ready to leave you will vote which -6- stay. After that point it will be narrowed down as needed by either polls or my own decisions. The Majere children all got new faces, because I couldn't deal with them any other way. Any of the second generation, or third gen for that matter, who are born or who are now children may end up getting voted in or out or whatever...I'll deal with that later.

This could possibly save my sanity and mean I don't have to organize three to four sets of pictures before uploading them.

Post should be up over the weekend and the first poll will be up as soon as I get all three sets through school.

I've been promising this for a while so here goes.

(please note the since TR is the canon this is heavily influenced by that so that game started it all. Well not all of it I did have an enabler that got me into the Sims and helped me get this far, and the name of the town was also from other input, but apparently it's given me ideas?)

Okay, so I've been playing Sims 2 quite a bit lately. I'm still adjusting to it, and yes quite a few things very tedious and annoying. I also bit off a bit more than I could chew by starting out with two teens, two adults and one elder. That being said after learning a few things, and a very handy money cheat, I have started to enjoy quite a bit about it. I didn't take pictures starting out, but I have enough to give you some idea of what my sims have been up to so without further ado PICS:
