Theories, Squeeing...etc...

I have a few theories/questions that I want to get out there before the book comes out. Surprisingly, or not, most of them are about Snape, directly or indirectly.

The first, and probably most obvious from that last statement, is that I believe Snape will play a big part in the final book somehow. I have heard a few theories that make me all the more curious about the role he will play.

I think that we probably haven't seen the last of Lily and the importance of Harry having her 'eyes'. Again, read a theory this morning that I'm not sure will actually be used in the final book but I think it could explain a lot.

To me Severus Snape represents the in-between of choices, at least so far. We have Voldemort out on the edges hating muggles and wanting to control the wizarding world and we have Harry on the other end representing love and for the most part compassion. This is why I think Snape will play such a big role since Harry still has many issues to deal with before he can truly oppose Voldemort. And finally we have Severus Snape who to me represents being on the fence. He is mostly going to take care of himself and the few people he respects throughout his life. These are probably very few and include, in my opinion, Dumbledore, Lily and his mother. Draco is in there too since he made the vow. If to J.K. it's all about choices then these are the choices that seem to be out there for half-bloods. Also, I almost forget there is Hagrid though he is pretty much with Harry in the sense of compassion, giving and all of that.

I don't think we also have seen the last of the past coming back to haunt people. There is still so much we don't know, and probably should, from the time of the Marauders and even the time of the Founders. There are a lot of assumptions made about Slytherin and while they are probably right in most respects if in the end the wizarding world must come together then something tells me we are missing information there. Also, I think Snape being a half-blood is more important than we realize and some of that might come out in learning about the past.

Harry has blind spots, this is obvious so I think it will be important for him to see his father's growth into the man that works for the Order of the Phoenix. If he doesn't I think that doubt will be a huge detriment.

I would like to see more done with Harry's connection to Voldemort, but that is just me probably. Yes, yes, I'm a sick puppy move along people.

One of the last things Dumbledore said about Voldemort wouldn't come after Draco if he thought he was dead might just be OMG! important. I am thinking of one particular character but it could simply be something that comes out of nowhere.

I also think the statement that Harry says about always being there to save the day will come back and haunt him, not precisely in a bad way, but it's just one of those statements that stands out to me

As I think of more, because I know I had them, I will be adding. Also, I am likely to organize them a bit more since they are pretty rough at this point.

I am getting so anxious for the movie it's not even funny. Weeeeeeeeee!

Summer school is going pretty smoothly, though I cannot wait until it is over. I will still be busy when it is over as I prepare for next semester and try to make some hard decisions about a few things.
