(no subject)

There's been quite a bit going on so I guess this will turn out to be a long post.

First, I am now back on powerlink. YAY! Hopefully there will no longer be any money issues that will interfere with my net.

Second thanks to a friend I've gotten to see a few movies in the past week; Lady in the Water being the first. I wish I were eloquent enough to truly say something meaningful about this movie but all I can say is that I thought it was beautiful, and to be perfectly honest I needed it even if I didn't know I did.

I also saw V for Vendetta. I enjoyed it and will never doubt how necessary a movie like this is, though I had to admit there were a few scenes that bothered me so I probably won't buy it. I love how he was able to make the mask almost have expressions, and the hair became something almost alive at times.

The last movie was Ultraviolet. This movie was really good, and had a lot more twists and turns then I would have thought, and who really can resist Milla..I mean really.

A couple of weeks ago I also got the chance to see Superman Returns and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I really enjoyed them both and the day out by myself turned out to be something really good for me, and kind of cleansing actually.

I know, twice in one day...Wow! *grins*

Some people who I talk to on aim already know this, but I figured I would make a post about it anyway. As of the end of August I will be living by myself, at least until January. As soon as the one roommie moves out I can begin reaaraning things, which is really long overdue.

I still don't know how I feel about this. I think I really need to the time to myself, but money is also a big concern so I have already begun looking for a second job. I'm not sure yet how this will go. *crosses fingers*. Also, several weeks ago I sent a story to Playboy so I am hoping that they will buy my story and that I will have the money probably by the end of August. *crosses fingers again*. I hate waiting since I have never been known for my patience but I am trying.

Also next week I have to start getting ready for school which basically includes (along with finding the new job) shopping for supplies and books, just general shopping, paying up the rent as much as possible, cleaning and organizing the house as much as possible, trying to get my sleep schedule on track, getting back on my diet and hopefully getting a chance to make time to work out since the school has a great facility.

Anyway, that's it for now I think. I hope everyone is having a great summer, even though heat sucks more than I can express, and that I will still have time in school to keep up with everyone.
