What is going on??? I just want to post this and it keeps losing all the information in the body. This is the third time I've tried. Is today over yet?

Last night I had internet issues. I finally got them fixed, but they were worse this morning. I found out by some research and calling the ITDS people that the latest Windows update causes some issue with ZoneAlarm that results in loss of internet connectivity. It wouldn't even connect when I used a cord and plugged it in.

I was afraid I was going to have to take it in. Anyway, I am glad it is not a hardware issue, though I do have to spend some time looking for updates/fixes in the next day or so.

There are actually quite a few things to update about this time, scary isn't it?

I am a technology geek. I freely admit this. Especially technology that has to do with music, but computers are high up there. However, due to many issues, mostly money, I haven't considered getting a laptop. This has finally changed. I am getting some money from school hopefully on the 28th, but probably not until the 1st, and with this money I will buying a laptop. It is kind of end of an era in a weird way, but anyway...I am very excited about this and getting impatient for the money to be here already. I am also getting a few other things but I'm not completely made up my mind yet. It all depends on the price that the laptop ends up being.

The second update...if all goes as planned I will be visiting my mother in Ohio during my school's fall break. This week, well as soon as I get the money, I'll start making plans. Probably taking the bus as I just don't see myself able to afford a plane at this point. I'll be leaving the Saturday that break starts and staying as long as I can. It won't be very long since I only technically get Monday and Tuesday but we'll see. If this doesn't work out then I'll be going up there for Thanksgiving.

I do not feel like doing homework at all, sadly.
