As you've noticed I'm trying to get things back on track. I'll be continuing the job search in early September, but for now I'm just going to try to get caught up on things.

Fanfiction wise I am coming to the end of "Tears of Truth" so I'll have to decide if I'm continuing it or not. Either way, I won't be working on anything else until I finish it. I think you can expect the last chapter before the middle of September and then I might put up a post to see if anyone is interested in it going on, and maybe get some ideas where it should go.

As far as RP goes, god how I miss it by the way, I am actually considering apping L somewhere again. I've even gotten him a paid account again. I don't want to get overwhelmed with too many pups though so I'm trying to stay organized and really only focus on those I'm serious about. So far in serious contention are Yoji, L, Anna and Vincent Valentine. I'm going to figure out who I'll be working on first then maybe use dear_mun in order to get more practice in, and look around for different games just in case. I'm pretty sure where I'm going though, but I'll need a bit more time before I'm ready to apply. I want to be in a better state of mind just in case I get a rejection.

EDIT: I hate when that happens. Yeah, I hit the enter button before I was ready.

I also am going to be working on one of my novel ideas. I don't know know where to send it to yet, but I'm finally getting to the point where I'm ready to write again so we'll see how that goes.

It's sad that I am so bored, and yet have no motivation to do all of the things I'd really like to. Work is draining me so quickly as usual so when I get home I don't have any energy *pout*. On a good note the library position hopefully will be calling me for an interview this week, or early next *crosses fingers*. I was afraid they'd already made their decision, but I talked to someone last week and she said they were still getting ready so there is hope.

Since I am so bored and obviously am having trouble doing anything, please help:

Ask me anything, personal or fandom (I'm including Sims 2 as a fandom), and I will answer. I'm pretty okay with answering just about any question, although if it does hit a nerve or something I will let you know and give you a chance to ask something else.

Yeah, I will let my icon speak on how my day went today. If I don't get this library job I don't know what I am going to do. I'm just trying to go with things day by day, but really if I had any money at all saved back I would put in my two weeks notice so quickly their heads would spin.

Okay, first good things:

See Durarara!! If you are into Anime at all, or even if you haven't checked any out you should see it. It takes a few episodes to really get going, but give it a try anyway. I've found several places to watch it online, English subbed, and also it should be officially coming to the States soon, I'm guessing before the end of the year, so you can rent it. There are only 24 episodes so it's not overly long. I hardly ever do recommendation posts because really I don't like to be pushy when I like things, well too pushy, but this show is just really really good, and I think there is probably a character, or just the city itself, that everyone can identify with!

I'm going to start watching Axis Powers Hetalia today so hopefully I will enjoy it and it will be fun and distract me.

Bad things:

I have to get out of fast food like yesterday. I'm going to start looking for office jobs again, which was my intention anyway today just made this need so clear, and if nothing pans out then I am still going to try and have something published by December so I can quit, well I might stay until January if necessary but really I'm going to do all I can to get out there before the end of August. I know I'm not the only one to be in that situation, but I've went through several years of school, have two degrees, and should be past this point in my life. If I can't make my writing career start this year, then at least I'm going to do all I can to be working with either of my degrees somehow. There are still a couple of places to check in town so I'll start next week. It's up to me to change things and I'm going to take the necessary steps.

Well I went into work this morning, but since my voice is still practically useless they decided to just send me home. I have tomorrow off too so hopefully by then it will be closer to normal. I volunteered to work on my second day off for the pay period to make up some of the lost hours. I don't think they'll actually call me in, but I put it out there just in case.

Well, so far I'm coping with the sporadic 'Net. I'm not coping well though. I keep telling myself only a couple of weeks and things will be back together, but that doesn't work near as much as I would like.

I will be coming back with lots of fics- Tears of Truth will have at least another chapter the week I get back, the final chapter of the 'Private Dancer' verse will be posted around the same time and I am also working on a new Weiss fic. It will be very different from what you have seen so far. Very plot heavy, and will include some playing around with 'Weiss' science. Yes, there is a reason I'm putting it like that...those who have seen the show will understand. It will have quite a few warnings and for that reason will be friends locked. It will also contain several polls as I'm hoping to have it be a little interactive, at least at the beginning. I'm also going to go back and try to continue the other fics I've got going including Honey and Closer.

As for the things I'll be working on to try and sell they may take a few weeks more for me to be ready to move on with them. One requires a lot of paperwork, which will be the culmination of several months work, and the other one needs a detailed outline as well as some character development and such. I think I have the plot down, but really I won't know how much work it needs until I get the basic foundation. There are several other things I'm going to try and work on, but these two are the priority for the moment.

I also intend to continue trying to get a library job, or go back to school in January. It will take a lot of planning for me to go back so I'm just going to see where that goes. I will have to move to a different city, and possibly live in the dorms to get the degree I really want, but I may talk to people at Eastern because they have a degree that covers grade school library science so it may just be easier to do that then take a semester at UK to get the ones required for college, or you know I may totally not know what I'm talking about and really they won't work well together at all so yeah I'll figure that out first before I make any solid plans one way or another.

Finally, on an RP note. I want to get back into things slowly simply because I have found that if I let myself get too stressed it just plays havoc with trying to keep up in LJ RP. I close off and even though I want to interact I end up doing nothing. I guess I get overwhelmed easily. I'm trying to learn some stress management techniques that work for me, one of which would be getting a library job, but realistically that isn't something I can plan on any time soon, so yeah back to the drawing board on that one. One plan I'm working on is limiting myself to maybe 3 or 4 characters no matter how RPs I might be in. This way I can really concentrate on them and it won't be as hard to meet requirements. I'm still working things out in my head for now since I can't really say how things will go once I get the wireless. After all, Yoji's voice came back and so now he is back in the mix. So much for starting completely clean, which really isn't all bad because he's Yoji after all.

Mostly these are the things I'm thinking about for the summer, and early autumn. As long as there are no unforeseen issues once I settle into somewhat of a routine at McDonald's I should be able to relax and figure out where to go from here. I like my routines I admit.

I got the job at McDonald's. Yay! I should have orientation this week and I'll be putting in my two weeks notice at Hastings today when I go in. I have to get my food handler's card which is more annoying than a real problem, or at least I hope that is the case.

Also, as you can tell, I still have 'net. My roommates don't so I suppose it's just because I left the computer on and so the connection hasn't reset, which means really it could go at any time. There's supposed to be a city wide free wireless connection, but I can't get it in my room and I've only seen it twice in all the many times I've checked wireless networks so I'm not sure what is going on with that.

I'm sorry I've been so horrible at updating, not that I am great at any other time. Dealing with the apartment has taken pretty much all my energy. Well that and work. The biggest change is that I finally got a Blu-Ray player.

It'll still be about a month, give or take a week, for everything to get back to normal. At least this is a good excuse for me to do some major rearranging and try to set up things better in my room.

I have been considering going back to school. There's still a lot I have to do if I decide to do it. I'll be making some calls tomorrow. Other than that I have been looking for a better job, especially at EKU if I can manage it. Also, I might be moving before the end of the year so there is a lot still up in the air.

Once things get settled I also plan to work on my writing. I don't know what will come of it other than getting things set up. It will take a lot of time at that point to find out who to start sending it too. I can check with some of the professors at school and see what they say. It will be on me, obviously I knew this from the beginning, at least a little. A friend told my roommate that the way he got published was to basically see himself then he got an agent only after the company had his manuscript, or possibly even after it was already published. It will take patience, but if I work at the school it shouldn't be too hard for me to some asking around. Also, if I work at the school I might be able to start taking the classes I need. I'll be calling tomorrow so I'll know whether or not the school thing will happen this year at least.

I want to just thank goodness for the Sims. Seriously, playing and reading legacies has kept me sane and helped me feel a little less a stranger in my own place.

Wow, it's been quite a while since I've done a real post.

There's not much to say really. I've slowly destressed from school. I messed up the class I thought I would so now I'm doing Co-op. The paperwork should all be in by Friday at the latest. I'll be working on research for the music library here on campus. I'll be a librarian again, which feels sort of weird.

I've played with the Sims 2 quite a bit. I'm still not sure if I actually like it very much, but it's been interesting to learn.

RP people do expect posts and tags from my pups this week. As soon as I've got my hours sorted out I intend to focus on them as much as possible this month.

That's about it for now. A longer post may come later as well as a State of the Pups. Also, maybe some Sims talk.


EDIT: Yup there's snow here. Not too much. I think at most about 2-3 inches? But it looks like some melted throughout the day or something.

The project o'doom is OVER! I gave my presentation today so now all I have to do is play the wait for the grade game.

May hasn't started off very well. I won't go into details but needless to say it has not helped the stress that can be me. However, there were moments today that make me hopeful about the month especially since finals are next week. Yay!

Summer should be interesting since I'll be doing some work for another person in our department and all depending on how that goes who knows what I will do.

Well registration is done, and while it wasn't completely painless the pain was only mild.

Here's my schedule for next semester: Survey of the Music Industry I, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Harry Potter and the Fantasy Tradition, and Management Information Systems. There might be a finance class added but right now I'm betting on a no. Now I just have to set up my work schedule and next semester is taken care of.

Also, interesting thing at work last night. Some students were filming a production in the section of the library where I work. Apparently, one of my bosses is in it and is trying to convince them to let her blog it or put it on youtube. She figures librarians will eat it up. So if this happens I will try to find it and put a link here.

Well school starts tomorrow, and I must admit, for the most part, I'm looking forward to it. One of my classes has me very nervous since it involves ear training and learning to sightsing. Hopefully I won't mess up too much, but we shall see.


I still need to find another job, but hopefully I can find something at school tomorrow *crosses fingers*. I also still have a lot of work to do on the apartment, but I can't just yet. Hopefully it will be something that won't take too long and I can get it done before school really kicks into high gear.

Well it's bee a while, but other than job searching and money issues (what's new?) there isn't too much to report. First of all I'm not working at the Library this summer, instead I'm in the Public Relations and Marketing Department. I must say I really like it.

I've filled out six applications and probably will pick up a couple more when I turn these in. I also need to rework my resume so that I can give it to a few places. I also am hoping to get a call from Hastings for an interview sometime this week..*crosses fingers*.

I WILL be mailing stories out tomorrow and emailing something to a local magazine probably next week. The stuff I mail out will probably be a few weeks to a month before I hear about it (maybe longer) but it should pay decetnly so it's worth it. I am trying to to get my hopes up and am expecting rejection (although not being rejected would REALLY help about now *grins*).

I should have money problems dealt with by August IF I get a second job and some of my stories sell..we shall see I suppose. So hopefully in a month or so I should have powerlink (or some form of DSL) back on at the house.

I finally finished 'The Stand' and am working on the Gunslinger series, though I am reading slowly so I can sort of read the books as close together as possible.

I have put in an interlibrary loan for the VHS or DVD of 'The Stand' mini-series so hopefully I will get that sometime in the next week or so.

I am looking forward to school starting back I think, hopefully my classes will keep me interested and not demand too much of my time.

Well that's it for now I guess....goodness I'm just so exciting aren't I. Oh well, hopefully I will be reporting good news soon.

Not much going on..right now I am just getting used to working at a library again. I did not realize how much I missed it; I know sounds lame, but..*shrug*..I don't miss the cold though..

I am going to see Star Wars on Thursday, thanks to the kindness of Paul(Allen). I don't know how well I am going to deal with all of the crowds though...

I still have to catch up on Naruto and Prince of Tennis. Sometimes it is very difficult to be into series that are so long.

I may be going to a con this summer, though I am not holding my breath. Paul (Allen) wants to go and needs company for the ride up; however, he also has several Other things that he wants to do, which will require major moving, so I don't know if he will still be here and I am hesitant to make definite plans because if he does not go then I don't think it will make financial sense for me to go.

Speaking of money...I am hoping that since both Jeri and I get paid 3 times in June that we can catch everything up (mainly phone and internet/cable are problems right now). I also want to see about getting some sort of help, but not sure where is the best to go.

Well, I guess that's all for now...I hope to update more often since it's summer...

I have totally spent all of this evening trying to fix a homepage problem, but eventually I just had to start over.....UGH!

Anyway, I no longer work at Applebee's..I don't know how I feel yet I am too stressed about everything. I hope I made the right decision...I just couldn't take much more stress right now.

I am going to try and sell some of my poetry and maybe a couple of my short stories this weekend....and I am going to work on the new webpage.

The house is still so hot! I hope we can do something soon.
