I hope everyone had a lovely, wonderful Easter. I did pretty much nothing other than watch TV. The rest helped a little, but I could use another day off *grins*.

I am finally home! Don't get me wrong I love my family, but I am a homebody and being away from my place for this long was really sort of annoying. Anyway, Christmas was pretty good. I ate way too much, but isn't that the way it always goes? I got some clothes, a little money, some jewelry, another throw (I think my Mom forgot that she had already given me one, but hey I guess you can't have too many, right?), and a few other things.
I also have my grades: CIS 300 (Management Information Systems) B, ENG 200 (Harry Potter and the Fantasy Tradition) A, MGT 300 (Principles of Management) C, MKT 300 (Principles of Marketing) C, and finally MUS 390 (Survey of the Music Industry I) A.
Other than being home and celebrating Christmas tomorrow not much else going on here. I will have to start getting ready for next semester some time in the next couple of weeks because I want to have as much done as possible before it actually starts.

Other than being home and celebrating Christmas tomorrow not much else going on here. I will have to start getting ready for next semester some time in the next couple of weeks because I want to have as much done as possible before it actually starts.
Well, my trip has been put off until Monday due to a snow storm in Ohio. In a way I am glad for the extra day of rest not having to deal with packing and buses.
Now just a few musings:
I got to see The Golden Compass last night and really enjoyed it. To the point of actually getting into it sitting on the edge of the seat. I still want to see Enchanted.
There is a chance, I don't know how much of one, that I will get to see Phantom of the Opera in Louisville in January I think? Anyway, yes it's traveling again and I am so wanting to go. It's on my list of things to see/do before I die.
Also, today I just saw a trailer for Mamma Mia and am dying to see it already. Not only do I love Abba, but the trailer looked like so much fun.

Well if I don't totally mess up this semester, which is a high possibility sadly, this is what my schedule for classes looks like next semester: Intro to Creative Writing (which might actually get me off of my butt, but we shall have to see), Business Finance I (Oh the excitement...only not so much), Operations Management(no excitement here either), Services Marketing (minor excitement, but you know not really), Internet Marketing (*shrugs*) and finally Survey of the Music Industry II (this one might be a little interesting, but we shall see). Anyway, yes let's hope that I do not mess up this semester and you know run around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to fix it.
There is also the whole fear/nervousness of trying to get ready to graduate. I can't afford to waste time at all because I will go through the financial mess that I went through (which I've still not really recovered from) when I graduated the last time. I'm pretty sure I'll have to move and while it's exciting I just...well I don't know if I'm ready.
As can be seen from my icon a certain fandom, which is never far from my heart anyway, is back in the spotlight. I first saw Ronin Warriors (Samurai Troopers in the Japanese) in 96-97? A friend got a hold of all of the episodes through another friend when he saw her printing out pictures from the series and told her he had the episodes. Since then I have had to sit through untranslated movies, buying action figures, them finally putting the DVDs out and finding out how different, and yet amazingly the same, that the English version was, and of course I've been through many fandoms since. Now I finally have icons (Yay!) and will be putting the music from it in MP3 format very soon (probably over break?) so I am a little giddy. Weiss Kreuz is making it's way back into the front of my head again too so *grins*.
I'm still RPing and loving it, but then that isn't really news, now is it? I have made new journals for characters but who knows if they will go anywhere.

Lately, for the past week or so, I've been having migraines about every day. It took me until today to realize I might be allergic to Splenda. See there's this drink here called Ale-8-1(actually made in the city where I was born) and when Splenda came out they finally made a diet version. Apparently, my body doesn't like the fake sugar.
I'll know for sure tomorrow since I bought some regular ones for comparison. I thought I was over all of the allergies of my youth, but ummm...maybe not so much. I still say seven years of allergy shots were all about the chocolate baby.
oh and
HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone!!! To celebrate I am enjoying A Nightmare On Elm Street. I'll probably get through a couple of them before I head to sleep.

Okay I fail at updating this journal, so much do I fail that it's not even funny. Anyway, this is my 'OMG! must post' well umm....post.
Christmas was good. I got clothes from mom, a throw which if I understand she actually sewed..I think this is a new hobby of hers but I appear to be out of the loop, some bath stuff and perfume which have a very Japanese feel to them (names like Japanese Cherry Blossom and Orange Flower), I got a pearl necklace set, a necklace, a watch...I'm not sure that this is all but anyway, I got money which allowed me to buy Final Fantasy 12(why do I not have icons yet?), and Lady in the Water. I finally, thanks to a friend, have the guidebook for Final Fantasy 12.
The New Year so far has been interesting. Things have happened in RP which I'm still dealing with, school starts next week and I will be moving before the end of the month. My new place is amazing. It is a house first of all which makes it cool for that alone, but it is also so close to campus that it is such a relief I can't even describe how relieved I am, and oh yes much cheaper than where I am now.
I'm not sure about net interruption yet. It all depends on whether we transfer my cable account or go with direct tv and some form of DSL. I am good either way but maybe just a bit partial to the cable idea.
Alas my iPod is still sick. I hope to send it off this week.
*glances at post* Oh yes, my life it is exciting. *headdesk*

Hello, I know it's been a while.....though I have to say that my life is so boring that not much has happened.....oh well...I have managed on Slim-Fast to lose I think about 14-16 pounds..maybe more...I'm kinda excited, but also hope I can keep it off.....
Christmas was pretty good....I got one very interesting present..I don't know the proper word for it, but it is basically a Japanese meal setting with a rice bowl, a thing for the sushi, and it also came with chopsticks...now I just need to redo my kitchen...*smile* I also got some jewelry, clothes, some perfume, a hairgaimi (which my hair isn't long enough to really use yet)...
With the money that I got from the school things are a lot more smooth on the money front so far.......I kinda went on a shopping spree, which included such things as the most recent Yu Yu box set, an Inuyasha very large pencil board thingie, some new pants cause I kinda needed them, The Butterfly Effect DVD, The special edition Underworld Dvd, a couple of role-playing game books, the soundtrack for the Phantom of the Opera movie (which I finally got to see YEA!!) and the soundtrack for Into the Woods, a new portable Cd player, some cd organizer things and blank cds....I think that's about it. I did still manage to take care of a lot of things.
I started back to school today..not to bad so far though I already had to return a book cause I got the wrong one, and I still have some time to waste till my next class.....well I think that is about it....I hope everyone is having a good day....
