I got a save error '16' in my Sims 3 game so now I'm paranoid. Oh well it can be worse because I could save correctly right after and I've done some research so I can fix it, possibly, if it becomes a problem. It likely has to do with the way I transferred files while actually reinstalling the actual game, because I thought the patch I had should fix/prevent it.

I had been thinking about a neat idea for my Sims 2 legacy. If I can get off my butt and get things going on it again I had thought about taking the generation five heir and by recreating them moving them into Sims 3 then finishing it there. I'm not the greatest at facial structure so it might not be a good idea, but it occurred to me so I thought I'd share.

So, I haven't mentioned this yet, but since it'll happen in a few days I probably should. When I get my tax money, which should be Friday, I'll be getting a new laptop. I'm pretty excited, but also not looking forward to the hours it will take to get everything properly set up and the extra hours it will take to make sure that both my Sims 2 and Sims 3 games will play properly. On that note I should mention that until I get it the new laptop I probably won't be showing any of my Sims 3 gameplay because it crashes when the camera is forced to move quickly and the graphics are not set to max yet because of lag on my sucky computer. Okay, it's not sucky but it definitely doesn't have what it takes to handle 3-d rendering.

As for my Sims 2 legacy HOPEFULLY once I get going to the doctor, dealing with the laptop, and such like out of the way I can work on it. Winter always seems to mess with my motivation, but I really want to completely finish a legacy so I will get to that. And there are fics to finish as well once I get my focus back.

I don't normally do New Year's Resolutions, because honestly they don't help me accomplish anything at all, but I do have one thing I want to do in the New Year: be productive. This means that after the holidays are over I'll be working on my Yoji app for TR most likely. I already have one mostly written so it will just require some clean-up. I also plan to work on getting a story sold. I know I say this so much it's not even funny, but I basically want to get some direction this year. Once it is done then I can work on going through on the channels to do something with it. I don't know if anything will happen this year other than the writing, especially since work is still hella stressful and a lot of stress since to block me off big time. These are the big things I want to get going on. I also want to finish Final Fantasy XIII. I'm at a point, though, where I think I'm going to have to spend a lot of time getting points so I can upgrade my characters. I foresee at least a couple of hours, if not more, and I'm not looking forward to it.

I have Sims 3 now. I didn't think my computer would run in, but apparently there's just the tiniest big of lag, I mean it's barely noticeable except when you come out of create-a-sim when you do a makeover. I wasn't sure for the longest time I was going to even get it, and until I get it sorted out like I'll probably be playing Sims 2 more, so really not much has changed. Sadly, I mainly got it for Late Night. Vampires that act like vamps YES PLEASE. I like the way they look in game and I like the whole set up for them so yeah. Yes, I know I'm addicted let's not go there.

I think that's everything for now. I should be updating my Sims very soon, probably after the application for Yoji is done, and I still intend to work on my fics (Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird needs to be updated so badly).

Sorry I've not been around much. I can't even say I've been really busy...more distracted and unfocused than anything else. November and December usually do that to me until I adjust to the weather change and get through the holidays.

I intend, in the next few weeks, to post more on 'Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird' and I should have a Sims 2 post pretty soon. I have a bunch of pictures I just need to upload and organize them.

Probably in January I'll get going on sending in RP applications. I'm still looking for another job so that may make it happen sooner or delay it slightly. I'm still only focusing on the school, but I do have an application to the public library I just need to get it turned in.

I have also been experimenting with stuff on my comp so I can possibly work on doing "Let's Plays" for youtube. So far it's been a failure, but I'm just going to do it for fun so I'm just going to take my time. I may wait until I can invest in a better system so I can just get a video card and a hook up to my TV. I don't know yet really. I just noticed I hadn't seen many females doing it so I thought it would be kind of cool. I don't have that many games I'm good enough at to do it with, but we'll see.

Oh, just for future knowledge if nothing changes, I'll be going to Ohio for Christmas. I'll probably be leaving Christmas Eve and coming back on the 28th.

I guess that's everything for now.

Is anyone else having trouble with Twitter? I've tried to log in with what I know is the password and it doesn't work. Reset didn't work either. Also, days of tweets were missing the one time I got in, but I haven't been able to get back in.

Okay, for any who are on my F-List and have played Devil May Cry...has Capcom EVER confirmed who Nero is? I've found a whole bunch of theories by fans, but so far no confirming. I guess they might be leaving it for game 5, but I'd still like to know if I'm missing anything if someone is aware.
