Summary of the week: (sort of)

Monday/Tuesday: Pretty average all in all.
Wednesday: BAD. So bad in fact that I do not acknowledge that it even happened and do the whole fingers in ears, "Lalalala..can't hear you." type of thing. Anyway, moving on...
Thursday: Very good. I was ecstatic throughout the whole day. I went for a short walk to enjoy the warmth. And finally saw Blade: Trinity.
Friday: So far, so good. I am still destressing, but will be reading tonight and getting the homework thing under control so Yay.

I registered towards the first part of the month but haven't really collected it yet so here goes: GBU 480 (Business Strategy), MGT 330 (Small Business Management...I already know what I'll be doing for this class, so as long as I stay on top of it things should go smoothly), MKT 304 (Retailing), and finally MKT 310 (Personal Selling). I will be keeping it to four classes I think just to keep my sanity. Between the process of getting things ready to search for a job, and actually looking for a job, as well as working 20 hours a week I think this will be about all I can handle.

Well if I don't totally mess up this semester, which is a high possibility sadly, this is what my schedule for classes looks like next semester: Intro to Creative Writing (which might actually get me off of my butt, but we shall have to see), Business Finance I (Oh the excitement...only not so much), Operations Management(no excitement here either), Services Marketing (minor excitement, but you know not really), Internet Marketing (*shrugs*) and finally Survey of the Music Industry II (this one might be a little interesting, but we shall see). Anyway, yes let's hope that I do not mess up this semester and you know run around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to fix it.

There is also the whole fear/nervousness of trying to get ready to graduate. I can't afford to waste time at all because I will go through the financial mess that I went through (which I've still not really recovered from) when I graduated the last time. I'm pretty sure I'll have to move and while it's exciting I just...well I don't know if I'm ready.

As can be seen from my icon a certain fandom, which is never far from my heart anyway, is back in the spotlight. I first saw Ronin Warriors (Samurai Troopers in the Japanese) in 96-97? A friend got a hold of all of the episodes through another friend when he saw her printing out pictures from the series and told her he had the episodes. Since then I have had to sit through untranslated movies, buying action figures, them finally putting the DVDs out and finding out how different, and yet amazingly the same, that the English version was, and of course I've been through many fandoms since. Now I finally have icons (Yay!) and will be putting the music from it in MP3 format very soon (probably over break?) so I am a little giddy. Weiss Kreuz is making it's way back into the front of my head again too so *grins*.

I'm still RPing and loving it, but then that isn't really news, now is it? I have made new journals for characters but who knows if they will go anywhere.

Well registration is done, and while it wasn't completely painless the pain was only mild.

Here's my schedule for next semester: Survey of the Music Industry I, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Harry Potter and the Fantasy Tradition, and Management Information Systems. There might be a finance class added but right now I'm betting on a no. Now I just have to set up my work schedule and next semester is taken care of.

Also, interesting thing at work last night. Some students were filming a production in the section of the library where I work. Apparently, one of my bosses is in it and is trying to convince them to let her blog it or put it on youtube. She figures librarians will eat it up. So if this happens I will try to find it and put a link here.

Tuesday was the day that I registered for classes and after some only minor issues I managed to snag 5 classes, 14 credits. 3 of the classes are actually in my major: Music 290: Film Scoring, CCT 300: Managerial Reports, ACC 202: Introduction to Managerial Accounting. The other two are kind of random, okay in some ways very random but I have my reasons *shifty eyes* Introduction to the Theatre: THE 100, and World Religions: REL 301.

One of the main reason I decided on world religions is for this massive, may never be completed, trilogy that I'm working on that involves retelling Genesis and Revelation(s). I need to research anyway and this is the perfect opportunity. I haven't done much with it and maybe this will be the kick-start I need.

Anyway, for something completely different: off and on since about the time I created my livejournal I've been thinking about an rp. I wanted it to be for fandom characters as well as original table top rp characters that people adored, but couldn't use again for whatever reason. This idea has stalled since almost day 1 because basically I've been super busy, and stressed, and secondly because I've been trying to think of an original way to approach it since there are quite a few rps out there on LJ and on greatest journal for that matter. I also have been sure of actual interest in it either. Also, I didn't want to be the only mod and I want someone that it will be easy for me to communicate with.

I still would like to do something with this, it may happen on GJ instead I'm not sure. If anyone is interested, has any ideas feel free to share.

And thus ends my rant. Thank you for listening.
